"Neat and tidy in downtown Gonzales, TX. Short walk to loads of history, museums and a public library with largest private gun collection in USA and a wonderful TX History section. I think the manager/owner is also the chef of the Italian restraunt next door. Great dishes at fair prices. I had lasagna. It was served perfect in its own plate, not a chunk from a premade cookie pan. Recommend! "

"The property was well maintained with very friendly staff and owner. Breakfast was everything you could want in a hotel setting. The area felt safe and there weren’t any gas stations/convenient stores around for people to be hanging out. Definitely be back when visiting Ottine Springs just down the road. Johnny"

"It has been several years since I stayed at this hotel and I could not believe how much it had changed! The hotel sign states newly renovated and kitchenette. There is a kitchenette area but there is no coffee pot, utensils, cups,plates, etc. the beds were made up and clean; however, the bathroom had not been serviced, toiletries were used, toilet bowl and shower were not cleaned and no tissue. All pretty basic stuff. The room needed a fresh coat of paint. Had this not been the only room to...

"Reservation issues, took a long time to check in. Friendly staff. Hotel ran out of towels and was only able to have initial towels in room from first night of a 4 night stay. Room was clean and beds were good. Hotel is a bit run down, but for just a place to sleep for a night, it is okay."

There were no staff available, no towels, shower curtain, toilet paper, electrical outlets, poor locking system, no refrigerator, spiders, just NO NOTHING. They post this photo that is a lie. People live in those monthly room. "
