Yellowstone Big Rock Inn
8/10 Good
"We love staying here because it has a kitchen. The rooms are mid-level quality. Beds are comfortable, but linens are very scratchy. The wash cloths were so thin you could see your hand through it, but the bath and hand towels were fine. It's not a luxury hotel by any means, but is very clean and comfortable, near the north entrance to the park, and, because we are out of the room very early, we love having the kitchen. It saves us a lot of time and money."
Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins

"A very nice hotel. Things to know before hand: no TV, no wifi, and no AC, but we stayed the last week they were open in October and AC was NOT needed - the windows open and they supply a fan. Phone is ok with 1-3 bars. Other than that, we enjoyed to hotel, our room, etc. The main restaurant was ‘just okay’ and over-priced. The hotel is centrally located within Yellowstone. We stayed here 5 days and were able to see all of Yellowstone. I’d recommend it, but don’t expect great food at the restaurant."

"This hotel was a great choice. The location is terrific - right on the river and a short drive to Yellowstone. Splurge for the river view if you can. The sun sets behind the mountains across the river. The hotel provided smores and fire pits, which was delightful. And the hotel restaurant turned out to be the best choice in town in October. Just keep an eye out for elk in the evenings when you walk out of your room. They are everywhere in October, which is rutting season. All over the parking lots, roads. It’s pretty cool, but also they can get kinda close kinda fast when you are walking around. I’d totally stay here again."

"Rooms are basic, but you have what you need. The restaurant in the inn was also great! The grab and go could be better. Wish they had some things for kids!"
