We stayed 2 nights upon arriving in St. Martin before going to another location. Called the Love Hotel, the hotel provides no tv's in the guest rooms or bar area. The bar has a small restaurant menu. Pizza was great. The room was clean.
Beach chairs were provided. The beach towels can be improved. One large bottle of water is provided and 2 coffee pods for the first day. After that, you are on your own.
The big disappointment was when we got our beach chairs, we noticed dog feces in at least 3 locations next to the chairs. When we pointed it out to the staff person, he got a shovel and scooped it up. Then he proceeded to throw the feces in the water right in front of us. Needless to say, none of us went into the water after that. We were horrified! Interestingly, there are signs posted further down the beach that say dogs are not allowed on the public beach. There were 2 dogs in our immediate vicinity running loose.
Bring a converter with you because you have to pay 3 euros if you need one for charging your phone or tablet. A hairdryer is provided. You are also charged for extra water and coffee pods.
