This property is in a great location in the middle of Megeve. Great restaurants in the building and many others within walking distance. Once you arrive a car isn't necessary. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our room very much with a nice balcony over looking the village. Would definitely return.

The front desk staff were so sweet and helpful. We do not speak French, and had an emergency where we needed two different taxis going different directions, we had no idea where to even start. She just picked up the phone and started calling for us and found each of us one right away. They also asked the kitchen at the connected restaurant to let us in before they closed as we got in late the night before. The food was amazing, by the way! The best cheeseburger we've ever had. This is my 3rd time staying at Hotel Heliopic. There is simply no other hotel I would choose in Chamonix. As far as value, Heliopic should be deemed a 6 star hotel. Between the fabulous, helpful, patient, informative, and accommodating staff, and the numerous little complimentary touches and amenities in the hotel, I consider Heliopic one of my favorite hotels to stay at in the world.
