The Argile has a lot of potential but disappointed us on several levels. We booked two rooms 4 months before arriving which ended up as far away from each other as possible. Upon arrival our room’s AC didn’t work. The maintenance guy was quick to try and help us. We had to put pressure on the door sensor whenever it turned off to get it to start up again. Our room seemed to be a work in progress. It had a large open area which lacked a suitcase rack, chair or shelves of any kind. There was two tea bags but no kettle. The bathroom had no area to put our toiletries or hang a towel. We asked for an iron and ironing board but they could not accommodate us until after our check out a few days later. There were no instructions or map of the resort area, wifi, dining hours etc. Turned out the beautiful pool was only open from 10am-6pm so after a day of sight seeing we weren’t able to use it.
The bright side was a plentiful buffet breakfast. Seemed like a great family resort with some kind of all inclusive option which we weren’t offered.
