We go through Sulphur Springs about twice a year and this where we always stay. Great value, right off the highway and close to fantastic restaurants downtown.
Clean, Quite, Bed was very comfortable
Inexpensive so lacked some amenities, coffee pot, tissues. I knew breakfast was not part of the package, but there was a frig and microwave. Would stay there again.
Need clean more, tub not safe, smell so bad, bathroom door broken
Usually are so happy on Your property but this time I Had bad experience!!!
Thank you!!!
Cute mod looking room. Couldnt asked for more on a quick overnight stay. Bed was more comfortable than it looked. Room looked kind of 1960s which I loved. AC worked great. Front desk very friendly.
Super clean and well kept Motel 6. Water didn't get hot enough and the price attracts some weirdos and ghetto fabulous types. But not a dump. Perfect for when you need a place to sleep for the night.
It was safe and clean. No weirdos hanging around in the parking lot. The rooms were clean and ALL SMOKE FREE. No wierd smells or anything. The only issue we experienced was twice in 4 days the power went down. From what some guys who were in a construction crew said it had done that a few times. They might want to check that out
For the most part it was alright. There were pigeons picking on a chicken in the parking lot. I dont know why there was a chicken in the parking lot but it should've brought some friends. I got an upstairs room which is never a win and i was in the middle with the stairs being across the interstate and the other in oklahoma. Whoever designed it never went anywhere with a woman. Only 2 sets of stairs being on each end of the place. Wasnt any shampoo or coffee or any kind of amenities except a bar of soap so i had to drink that. Nice room though as far as deco, cleanliness, decent tv. Id probably give it 4 had i stayed on the 1st floor.

Little Sketchy
Not sure exactly how this got all the raving reviews. Front desk was super friendly and efficient.. no problems there. However , when we pulled in it looked like a scene out out of some law n order episode. Shady individuals everywhere. I even wonder if one of the rooms was being used as a brothel.
Room itself was slightly updated and you could tell someone made an effort. But it smelled so bad it permeated my clothes in my suitcase and quite honestly was very off putting. I know Motel 6 isn’t known for itself 5 stars.. but this one is definitely a 1 at best

Staff was friendly
The room is very affordable & directly on the highway. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately the trucks that run the highway shake the room almost constantly. The particular room I stayed in had a pungent odor that I could not explain. It appeared clean & dusted. It had 1 chair which was broken & a padded bench that had something spilled or growing on it between top & bottom cushions. I did not attempt a shower, first towel I picked up was stained. Due to the odor I slept only 4 hours (after 16 hours driving) and left at first light. This checks all the boxes for an inexpensive place to stay if you're, say, a migrant worker with limited funds (it was absolutely packed with workers the next morning when I was setting off). Its probably not a good bet for a family or any type of leisure accommodations...as I learned. At the end of the day the room was only $50-$60 and Im trying not to be too harsh considering how cheap that is - but I'd definitely say the listing / photos on hotels.com painted it slightly different from what you get in person.
The floor wasn't swept (found a bottle lid under a table) and there were leaves in the beds. Other than cleanliness it was a good 1 night stay during our 12 drive.
