โEverything was excellent. The Buffett in the morning was perfect! The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We came to Groningen to see the city where, in 1945 the war ended while my Dad was with the Canadian Army liberating The Netherlands. I have a picture of him toasting the end of the war with a local man. He was 22 at the time. The city is beautiful and friendly. โ
โthey we're from the start sweet and caring if you ask some info they give it to you right away if they dont know it they look it up to help you the beste i loved it โ
โI stayed there 1 night. The staff were all friendly, hotel was close to the station by bus (since i had a suitcase). I could'nt have breakfast due to early leave in the morning, but I could order a packed lunch before midnight which was quite useful on the way. Rooms slightly cold at night, seemed like they turned the heating system off overnight. Other than that everything was ok, they even hang you a rack of new towels if you dont want the room cleaned while you are out.โ
โDet var ett enkelt men bra rum med stor sรคng. Med fungerande AC var det en behaglig temperatur. Hotellet lรฅg centralt och det tog bara 15 min att gรฅ frรฅn centralstationen.โ
โWe had a great apartment, clean, large and well equipped, with good decor. The bed was big and very comfortable. The location is great it's very easy to access the centre of Groningen with a short walk.
My only criticism would be that it was very hot and it was hard to cool the room down. That said we were there during very hot weather. But all in all, a great place to stay.โ
โGood hotel in walking distance (15 min) to city center. The website is a bit unclear but there is no reception so you call when you are at the hotel and they remotely let you in. Which works fine.
The room is fine although you do hear the neighbors answering be you clearly.
But all in all a good choice and decent price/quality. โ
