“The hotel had apparently been recently refurbished so some things were reasonably needed, like the windows and the kitchen in our "suite" had been painted.”

“Room was lovely and clean. Small, but had everything we needed. Great view over Loch Broom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices. Parking was free and right in front of the hotel.”

“The staff here were nothing short of excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Hot and cold buffet breakfast, had an evening meal, the haddock and chips was to die for. Clean and tidy room, unfortunately we had a downstairs room which looked out over the front of the hotel, probably a net curtain or maybe some kind of blind would have offered some privacy as arriving guests were outside our window. The hotel would benefit from a bit of money spending on it as it was quite tired in places.”

“Our room only had 1 bedside cabinet for 2 beds. It wasn't immediately obvious how to obtain our included breakfast, and when I asked a member of staff about it, she seemed surprised.”

“The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mould it was room 37 the draft from the old windows was dreadful, rooms tiny but worst thing the walls were paper thin could here next door cough , snore and the voices , the bed my god had more lumps in it than porridge, check in wa 4 o’clock even premier inns are 3 pm and I offered to pay extra as we were there 2 hrs early as we had travelled hundreds of miles and they said no , we left at 8am next morning with out breakfast so for 16 hrs it cost £157...

“Incredible property the room was above and beyond our expectations. Clawfoot tub, coffee bar, the best bed and lovely hosts. Walking distance to Ullapool. We wished we had stayed for two nights. Very thoughtful touches to the room and our stay. We hope to be back one day!”
