"We totally enjoyed our stay in the cute town of Gruyères. The room was incredibly small but the bathroom was large. Opened the windows for fresh air (no a/c or fan) but were inundated with flies. "Please stay away from this place. It’s not clean at all. It’s not what you see in pictures. Rooms are very small. Only 1 small bed doesn’t even fit 2 person on bed.. Don’t have any parking. Very dark in hallway. Balcony is not safe. It has very low railing."

It is definitely better to visit during summer time... At least November was too late... Everything closes early and the days are too short.
