Horrible service. I bought full breakfast meals with a week of hotel room booking, but when I checked in, the manager at Sanflowery flatly denied that breakfasts were included. I showed the print out to prove that breakfast were included. Even with the proof, the greedy staff outright denied, alleging that the website had a mistake. Then I reasoned and showed them that the website option I booked included breakfast and was higher in price, so why don't they refund me the difference if they don't allow me to eat breakfast. They said website had mistake. Then I called Expedia to confirm, and Expedia validated that my booking DID include full breakfast for all seven days. Secondly, they assigned me a smoking room when I clearly requested a NON-SMOKING room because of my allergies to smoke. Also, I misplaced the digital card key and they said they'll charge me 30 yuan.When I went to pay, they said it's 50 yuan. I had enough so I argued with them and they said it's OK to pay 30 yuan instead. Horrible service and bunch of greedy liars at the hotel. So, much for claiming as 3.5 or 4 star hotel on the website. It should be only 1 star or less! Everyone, please do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel and its horrible staff.

Conveniently located hotel with free shuttle

The staff bent over backwards to make us happy!! We first had a smoking room, so we had to move out of that one, although the floor plan and view were Great! (clean and roomy bathroom). But after moving and using the new room it smelled like sewer. So they agreed to move us again!! We were SO happy to get another chance and the room we got was awesome!! So for that we were Very grateful!! We have a hard time wherever we go because we are vegetarian. But with the super great interpreter Susie hired named Amanda, we had no trouble understanding what was the food made out of. Also Amanda helped us locate vegi restaurants and shopping areas in the city. I guess we are a bit demanding, but all our needs were met and we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. It was well worth the money!!

不錯的日式酒店，住的很舒服

當時看酒店外面覺得一般般，連前台也是比較沒想像中那麼好！當走進房間時，那感覺挺讚的，完全的日式風格，榻榻米～馬桶都是全自動的！總的來說，還可以！物有所值！

Единственный минус - это не говорящий по английски персонал. два человека на весь отель владели английским языком. до метро на такси 7-10 минут. отличный ресторан в отеле.

Business travel only

Staff spoke very limited English. Hotel is located next to a highway crossing (but not highway access nearby), taxi drivers have a hard time finding it - make sure to get exact address in Chinese, and a map, from internet before heading out there. Beware: Google maps has Sanflowery in several locations, only one is correct (crossing of S81 and S303) - you may have more luck instructing drivers to aim for "Yinggehai Holidays Hotel", which is next door. Hotel is worn down, surrounding area completely dead. You're better off with another hotel.

For the price i think hotel is ok i checked in this hotel after Canton Fair, I even did 2 business meetings there. No body speaks English except three intern girls. First night i got Japanese style room and i would not recommend this to anyone. Next day i talked and they gave me Chinese style room which is much better. If you are vegetarian or keeping kosher or muslim this hotel you will starve because only they serve Chinese food every thing is cooked with pig oil. Overall i can say it was a bit adventure for me.

Not Impressed

This hotel would be ok if you speak Chinese. The staff at the hotel speak "little" if any English. The hotel has a Japanese theme. The mattresses are just laying on the room floor. Sort of hard on the back. The restaurant in the hotel does not serve COFFEE!!!!! I would not return to this hotel....
