Real French charm.

Hotel was a nice surprise. It's not modern, but authentic and with a typical French charm. To say it's a romantic hotel is a little bit too much, but we enjoyed our one night stay while traveling through the country. Restaurant was very good, no need to search around.

No fresh air in the room, it was hot and stuffy! There were also no mosquito nets and the was not clean: lots of cobwebs. We like the garden and the restaurant!

Lovely but no drinks to buy in 35 degrees heat.

Accommodation and room was amazing, However.... after a 6 hour drive in 35 degree heat there was no water or drinks to be bought. The bar did not open till 7pm (we arrived at 4pm) and so resorted to getting in the car and driving another 3o mins each way to the closest supermarket. I woukd book again but stop enroute with more water.

Great - but some snagging issues

One basin in the bathroom was not connected and the shower are flooded. I suspect this hotel was newly opened and they haven’t finished the rennovations properly.

Not what we expected

Hrrm. Didn’t really meet the expectations. In the middle of preparations for a wedding and not much interest in the overnight guests. Suspicious activity around the premises made it feel unsafe. The house itself looks nice but is situated in a rough area along the road. Beds ok and breakfast ok but that’s about it. Not pricy and there’s a reason.

We hadden een vierpersoons kamer geboekt, maar bij aankomst bleek die niet beschikbaar. Als alternatief werden 2 aparte kamers aangeboden, de kinderen vonden dat ook leuk. Het is een mooie locatie, netjes verzorgd maar wel wat kleine kamers en badkamers. Goed Frans ontbijtbuffet. Perfect voor een doorreis.

Le personnel ne parle pas beaucoup voir pas du tout Français. Pour une chambre de 5 personnes avoir juste un cintre et pas de porte manteau pose un réel problème, manque de porte manteau, de cintres, et de portes serviettes dans la salle de bain et peu être voir pour mettre plus de chaise ou de pouf pour poser ses affaires surtout pour une famille nombreuse, et aussi un bureau ou une table pour poser des papiers ou un ordinateur. Il nous a été impossible de recharger nos téléphones si la lumière n'était pas allumée, prévoir d utiliser les prises sans forcement avoir la lumière, un manque de wifi dans la chambre, nous avons été obliger de se mettre dans les escaliers pour avoir du wifi pas très agréable ni pour nous, ni pour les autres occupant de l'hôtel, il manquerait des affichages dans la chambre comme les sorties d'urgence, un numéro en cas d'urgence, ainsi qu'un plan simple pour expliquer ou se trouve le petit déjeuner et d'autres choses utile pour cette établissement comme les horaires d'ouverture du petit déjeuner et du restaurant. Sinon très jolie cadre, et très bon petit déjeuner

Le séjour c’est bien passé dans l’ensemble mais, je suis parti à 4h du matin et l’eau de ma Douche était gelé dommage, même s’il faut faire des économies d’énergie j’aurai bien aimé me doucher avec de l’eau chaude … (j’avais bien prévenu que je partais à 4h)

Voor onderweg naar definitieve bestemming.

Het verblijf was prima. Kamers zijn schoon, maar niet erg luxe. In de ochtend hoor je de ontbijtzaal omdat die boven ons gelegen lag. Vriendelijk ontvangen. Geen restaurants in de buurt. Dus onderweg er naartoe moet je wat zoeken om te eten. Ontbijt is goed verzorgd. Goede, snelle, tussenstop.
