Everything really good. Great location and nice ambiance. Some minor point for improvement. It is very dark in the restaurant especially for breakfast. Pillows in room for sleeping are too thin.

Very pleasant stay in Hamburg

We were only there for one night, wish it was more! The hotel is clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! Helped us book a night cruise and called a taxi for us in the morning. Great location for us as we wanted the night cruise and had booked a time for Miniature Wonderland in the morning.
Loved the welcoming set up of the room!

Nice hotel, room was okay but was expecting little bit more space for extra large room. The bed for our daughter was not ready upon our arrival, there were only towels for two in the room and we were never given extra glass/cup although the housekeeping team sorted out the bed straight away. Was expecting little bit more such as bathrobes and a larger outdoor area for the guests. There were only two tables outside the reception and although the restaurant had a large outdoor area, the restaurant manager was not happy for us to sit there unless we were ordering food from the restaurant. This was not great as we were the guests of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was good, but pricey at 26€ per person so for a family of three this was not a great value for money. One morning there was a lot of noise around 7am in the corridor, which woke us up. The hotel is in a great location and staff was friendly apart the moody restaurant manager who was very precious about his EMPTY outdoor space being dedicated to the restaurant guests despite us being the guests of the hotel!?. Big thank you to the housekeeping team that was friendly and helpful. 4 starts due to lack of outdoor or indoor space for the guests to relax apart from the restaurant area.

Arrived and our room was ready early - bonus! Reception staff were excellent. Great room. Bar superb. We don’t have breakfast or eat in the hotel. Now off to Copenhagen to compare!

Incredible hotel!!!

Hotel was a great find! Have stayed at many properties throughout Hamburg over the years and this one was by far...The best! Spotless clean, great staff and the attention to detail was second to none. Boiler Room bar and Neni restaurant are not to be missed while staying there. Haffen City is growing up nicely and downtown is a leisurely 10 minute walk. Highly recommended!!

Not worth this amount money

I had some bad experiences during my stay at this hotel: The Wi-Fi signal was very poor in my room. I notified the desk and they promised to check but nothing has changed afterwards. The safe in the room was not working. The desk said they knew the problem but didn't offer any alternative solution to me. I had to carry all my valuable things with me all the time. There was a cooking oil smell in my room on the 2nd floor because of the restaurant on the basement floor. The breakfast was okay.

How not to treat a guest

I chose the hotel based on a recommendation from a friend. The room was large and modern, but as I turned on the shower, I had phone call and suddenly I see water flowing out from the bathroom and into the bedroom where my clothes for a business function was layed out. Things like this can happen but it was a very unfavorable situation as I was in a rush. I just had to put back on the clothes I was travelling in and leave for the function. As I left for the evening I told the receptionist that I expect that my belongings are moved to another room l which would be ready for me upon my return. The receptionist confirmed and apologized. When I returned that night the room had not been changed, but the housekeeping had sort of dried up the carpet to the best of their ability. On checking out the next morning i was quite frustrated and said I would expect not to pay (fully) for the night, as the hotel’s plumbing issues impacted my night negatively, and the hotel did not even bother to change my room even though having agreed to it on the spot. I did not pay as I left, but after a couple of hours i received an e-mail from the hotel saying they charged my card in full and they have no recollection that they promised to change my room, nor could they find any evidence of any flooding. Being mistreated and indirectly accused of lying, this will be the last stay at 25hrs.

Supermysigt hotell i mysigt 1800 tals hus. Gillar man gamla tegelhus så är detta rätt plats. Nära till allt känns det som.
