Good hotel for Hamburg

This is a good hotel for Hamburg. Walking distance to the train and U-bahn. Price wasn't bad given how expensive Hamburg is.

Very cosy hotel with a homey feel and beautiful antique style. Each room has its own personality. Mine was up a small flight of hidden stairs and I felt like I had my own little studio under the roof, with a view over the rooftops and even a walk-in closet. The breakfast is included and served to you at the table, in antique cups on white tablecloths. I felt like I had been transported back in time in the best kind of way. A lovely break from the hectic outside world. I will definitely come back!

Multiple hotels in classic building

This place had nice people, a lovely breakfast, fairly large rooms, no AC, and is situated in a classic old building that now has different hotels on different floors. An interesting setup that I wonder how it came to be, but it was a pleasant stay and is on the UH campus and is quite walkable to the CCH conference center.

The reception opens from 7:00 to 22:00. I need to leave before the opening. During the night time, a customer should call to the night shelf. However, no one responded when I had called to there. Instead one hotel staff who take care of the morning foods helps me a lot. Thanks for her help.

Humidity

It smelled like mold as soon as i entered the hotel, the room smelled even stronger. The carpet floor was full of spots, and it was a lot of dirt / dust on the floor around the bed, especially against the wall. I was told by the receptionist that they recently had a water leak close to my room, but this smell was not new. Everything I have reaks of humidity and mold after my stay. The service was great, and the breakfast too, very sweet lady who made the food. Too bad I did not have as good experience with the room.

This is not really a hotel, more like an old-fashioned boarding house or B&B. It's one of five similar establishments situated in an over 100 year old, bourgeois apartment complex. The hallways and breakfast room are stately and beautifully decorated, but the rooms are of a low standard. I had a single room, which was very small and poorly furnished. The bedside lamp was impossible to turn on, so they changed it with one that was broken. The bathroom was really tiny. The room was on the Moorwedenstrass seide of the building, overlooking a very busy street and train line (close to the Dammtor station), so quite noise from very early till very late. I only stayed there to be close to the Univeristy. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the breakfast harty.

The “hotel” occupies half a floor (4th) of a building that is home to other 5 “hotels” each one using algo half a floor. Arrived at 2200 to find a locked door, eventually a night doorman that serves all the “hotels” was found. Rooms are very small and bathrooms ridiculously tiny. Never again!

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Gebäude mit vielen anderen Hotels. Einige davon machen einen merkwürdigen Eindruck, das Hotel Bellmoor war aber super.

Fint nok.

Det var fint, vi var mest ude og opleve Hamborg, men vi sov faktisk ret dårligt, husk egen hovedpude - for deres er helt flade og hårde. Men fint nok :) virkelig sød receptionist der opgraderede os fra Queen til King, og ringede efter Taxa etc. man skal dog betale 10 euro for parkering foran hotellet pr. Døgn 9-20.

En lille perle.

Dette hotel er blandt det bedste vi har været på, helt enestående modtagelse, fremvisning af værelset og hvad de har at tilbyde deres gæster. Det føles lidt som at gå ind i en tidslomme hvor alt ikke er perfekt ned til mindste detalje men, autentisk og ikke opkørt til at være mere end det er. Download DB bike app og benyt cyklerne lige neden for hotellet til at komme lidt rundt, det billigt og nemt, ca 6€ i timen. Vores varmeste anbefalinger til stedet og de søde mennesker der får huset til at leve. Tak for en god oplevelse og tak for en morgenmad med sjæl helt enestående og hyggeligt, vi ses igen.
