“The hotel is comprises of a main building and some houses and annexes. Sadly, the room we were given was in a damp annexe, and to our surprise when we opened the door there was someone in there! The receptionist apologised and gave us another room in the main building. The room was ok and clean, but we didn’t have water to shower either so our experience was overall okay. “There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark.”
