"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a fantastic hotel!
How do you describe a perfect hotel? For us, it’s one that gets everything right — and the Quality Hotel in Fredrikstad certainly did!
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Fredrikstad, just minutes from the bus station, around 10 minutes from the train station, and only about 5 minutes from some fabulous restaurants.
From the moment we walked through the doors, we received such a warm welcome. The lobby area looks amazing, and check-in was incredibly easy. The lady at reception was so helpful and understanding. English wasn’t her first language, but that didn’t stop her from making sure we had everything we needed. She even advised us on the best place to park, just two minutes from the hotel entrance — very useful when you’re trying to avoid the traffic wardens, who seem to be the same everywhere… vultures! 😂
Our double room was fantastic — really spacious, with a lovely, comfortable double bed, two armchairs, a dressing table, plenty of wardrobe space and a full-sized bathroom. Everything was absolutely immaculate.
And then there was the breakfast! 😍
There was such an amazing array of food that it would be impossible to mention everything. What really impressed us, though, was the fantastic choice available for people with dietary requirements. My wife and I both have gluten and dairy intolerances, and the range of options available to us was honestly something I have never experienced in a hotel before.
