The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are super helpful, friendly, and we’re ready to assist me with currency exchange, tour booking, or general advice about Ha Noi. The rooms were clean and comfortable and right in the middle of old town.

The Mayflower Hotel is good value for money however it was the people who work there that defined the experience for me. The staff at the Mayflower are exemplary and could not be more kind or helpful. It was a joy to be there and i look forward to my next visit.

The hotel staff are amazing and the stay was overall very good. The room was clean and decent but the light above the sink wasn't operational. Not that I needed it.

The property needs upgrade and clean. We found a dead cockroach at the elevator on the ground floor for 3 days before it was removed. We got the superior room but it turned out to be inferior to a standard room. The room is so narrow you have to climb to bed from the end. The wooden front door has a wide crack that can be seen from both directions. Shower is dirty and water splash everywhere outisde the stall when in used even with the door closed. This is not their fault but there is construction going on right next door with jack hammer starting at 7:30 am including weekend. What saved our trip was the staffs, êspcially Lily Thao, she is knowledgable with the area and booked us a tour on the CATHERINE 5 stars cruise at the last-minute good price and excellent cruise. She went out of her way to help us with all our needs such as transportation, where to eat, booking flight from Hanoi to other destinations locally. She saved our trip and made our stay very pleasant despite the disatisfaction with the room. She made sure that we were move to a much better room after our cruise of Ha Long bay which is a must. One recommendation when booking hotel thru Ễxpedia dont just take the pictures for granted, it may have been taken long time ago and verify the room dimensions. This is the old quarter so it is a little dirtier and the streets are smaller so some of the tour bus cannot enter. You have to meet them at wider street. Get the deluxe room with balcony!

Hidden Gem in the old quarter of Hanoi

The Mayflower was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to hanoi.

We had a fantastic stay! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, all main activities are in walking distance. Eventhough the hotel is in a busy street, when you're in your hotel room it's super quit and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was perfect for us, since we have a 2 year old we could still sit outside in the evening. |The airconditioning was a super bonus

Really loud room-

Location is good but you can hear everything from your room. The housekeeping staff started working on our floor at 8am and woke me up. They were so loud talking. I had to walk out there and ask them to be quiet and they tried but there is just zero soundproof.

Al llegar no encontraban nuestra reserva porque decían que no trabajaban con dicha plataforma. Luego la encontraron. La no tenerlo bien previsto nos enviaron a otra habitación ( fue una superior a la nuestra ) al día siguiente no cambiaron de habitación. El interrumpir de la llave de luces estaba roto. Lo repararon y nos pidieron disculpas. Luego bien la comodidad y baño

Hotel is located around one of the night market. Staffs were very friendly and always ensuring that we enjoy our stay. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served too. Staff even prepared a set of breakfast for our early flight. Very thoughtful. Will definitely stay again when we visit.

Amazing service but small ants in the room..

The service was amazing! The entire staff was really attentionate. We had to leave the hotel at 3 AM to catch our flight and they prepared for us a snack so we dont leave without breakfast. The only drawnback is the small ants in the room...
