The people at this hotel were so helpful and wonderful. It was our first stop in Vietnam and we couldn’t ask for better help on navigating the city Rooms were so clean and beautiful the rooftop pool was great after a hot day out the bartender upstairs was the best

Jacob and his team were absolutely amazing, best place to stay in Hanoi hands down! Even after checkout the services were amazing offering to hold our bags and allowing us to cool down and cold towels after shopping before next city trip, highly recommend!

The proverb hotel in Hanoi was wonderful. The rooms were a little small. By the step is amazing. The food was good. It’s very close to everything. If I haven’t go back to Hanoi I will definitely stay there again.

Of the four hotels we’ve stayed at in Vietnam this is our favourite by far. It is a boutique hotel in a great location. Best thing is the super friendly and helpful staff. It is also great value. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect spot in Hanoi. Close enough to walk to all the good shopping and restaurants but far enough from the hustle and bustle that it was quiet. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable and we loved the roof top pool.

We stayed only one night at Proverb Hotel Hanoi and it was a very lovely experience. The location is convenient, right in the middle of the Old Quarter and very walkable from most areas. The staff were lovely and the view from breakfast and the bar were great. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but there were some families enjoying the facilities when we went to go have a look. The staff were helpful and very happy to hold our luggage as our flight was later in the day. Everything was seamless. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Proverb Hotel Hanoi. The location is excellent—close to all the main attractions while still feeling peaceful. The staff were the standout of our stay: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The room was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families with young children. It was spotlessly clean, and we felt comfortable using the bathtub multiple times during our stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Dong Xuan Market and many popular local food stalls. Train Street and Beer Street are also only about 500–600 metres away, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions on foot. The staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Proverb Hotel. Our room was clean and had a lovely view of the neighborhood, breakfast was fresh and had lots of options and we loved happy hour at the rooftop bar. The staff made sure every littl detail was taken care of.

An Absolutely Perfect Stay in Hanoi – Highly Recommended! The Proverb Hotel is excellent, located right in the heart of Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—super helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and spacious, featuring a fantastic mattress that made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, offering plenty of choices for everyone alongside excellent coffee. We had a seamless, great experience all the way through. We also booked two excursions directly through the hotel reception: a trip to Ninh Binh and a Ha Long Bay Cruise, both operated by Heritage Travel. We highly recommend both trips! The guides and organizers were fantastic. Thank you to the wonderful team at Proverb Hotel for making our trip so memorable!

Great location right in the Old Quarter. Super friendly and helpful staff with good English. Excellent, mainly western breakfast buffet. Nice little gum, roof top swimming pool, not heated. Spa and sauna available, but we didn’t use them. We can highly recommend this hotel.
