Room 802. The room itself was quite small but the large balcony with views over Hanoi was great. We loved sitting out on the cute furniture with the pot plants in the morning and after dark with the lights of the city all around
Just because it says Premium in the hotel name it doesn’t mean that it is! This was my 7th trip to Vietnam over the last 25 years. I’ve stayed in hotels one step above a backpackers up to 5 star establishments. To say I was disappointed with this hotel for the money I paid would be an understatement. We were staying for six nights and I couldn’t book one of their more expensive rooms for my total stay so I booked their slightly cheaper room for two and the more expensive room for the remaining four nights. The cheaper room was a joke- the patio was larger than the room! It was dirty and the worst room I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. To be fair - Mr Tom, who tried to be helpful, was very apologetic about the room and moved us the next day into the more expensive room, which while much larger was still a terrible room for the price I paid per night in Vietnam. I simply cannot understand the positive reviews that are listed on sites for this hotel- it’s terrible value for the money. If I was paying half what I paid per night I would still have been disappointed. There is no breakfast provided (very unusual for a Vietnamese hotel), the cleanliness is dubious, there is mould on various walls, the photos on the web sites are photoshopped and the only positive thing I can say is that it’s a great location. So buyer beware you don’t always get what you pay for.
