“The house is beautiful, and the breakfast was very simple. There is no restaurant on Sundays, no room service and I wish I had known that beforehand. It was a good experience overall, though.”

“They’re outside areas, including the pool and the back deck area were absolutely beautifully done and very comfortable and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we were happy to see that they actually had housekeeping come to the room every day and replenish supplies and make the bed which sadly has become a rarity in hotels these days. They were great about an early check-in and holding our luggage as we had a later flight out. The only thing I think they need to improve is the menu...

“Great room with view of harbor and fountain. Excellent happy hour wine and cheese and the breakfast was terrific. The staff was helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and roomy. We had small maintenance issue but it was repaired very quickly. We will go back.”

“Everything was nice. Everything looked clean but our bed sheets had blood on them from the previous occupants. It was on the side by the wall on the edge. Not easily seen. Obviously they were not changed after the last people checked out.”

“a nice hotel, but the breakfast was quite disappointing..a paper box with a sugary muffin, a sour fruit cup, and a tiny cup of orange juice. not thoughtful or satisfying. To make matters worse, getting this breakfast required scanning a QR code, visiting a third party website, and entering my personal information just to make a reservation. Honestly, it might have been better not to offer anything at all. No one would expect to go through this much trouble just to get such a mediocre breakfast...

“The Venue met all of my expectations above and beyond. When I arrived I was greeted with a glass of champagne by Caroline and Harvey. They were such a delight, by paying attention to every single detail to making our stay perfect. The rooms were spectacular! The hotel decor is amazing with beautiful art works where ever you look. Alison the hotel art director took us on a tour while explaining in detail about the various artists. I can not say enough about this upscale stunning boutique...

“I had an excellent stay at Kings Courtyard Inn! Everything was truly on point. The front desk team was supportive and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, and room service was quick and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore the city.
