“The room was exceptionally comfortable and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the train station. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I misread the directions and ended up at the wrong door but a helpful man on the phone put me right straightaway. The room itself was great - clean and well-kept, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities, good shower and the complimentary breakfast cereal and snacks were a nice touch. I had a very comfortable stay and will choose Winckley again.”

“Sorry to have to say this but this hotel is really not great, even for the price. They advertise as 'no dogs allowed' (fair enough and something I don't disagree with) yet when I went to check in, upon walking through the front door the first thing that struck me was the overwhelming smell of dog, and to be greeted by two loud dogs barking at me behind the small check in desk before any member of staff appeared. Room was basic and not a lot of attention has gone into cleaning it. Thick layers...

“Easy check-in, clean bathroom”

“Perfect hotel”

“The hotel itself was lovely, but it was the kindness of the staff that especially impressed me. I would definitely stay there again”

“Nice”

“This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value.”
