Some amenities did not work in our room (heated floor). Walls were easy to hear through. Room was not ready at promised check-in time. Room rate seemed high for what was received.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and during that time, I had a visitor who brought a small 4 lb dog. Unbeknownst to me, two people from hotel management entered my room while I was away and left a notice stating that I would be charged a $75.00 Pet Fee. When the visitor arrived, we walked by the front desk, and no one mentioned that I would be charged a fee if the pet entered my room. This would have been the appropriate time to communicate this "hotel policy"; however, no such information was provided. When I reached out to the front desk, they informed me that regardless of the dog only visiting for a few hours, the fee still applied. Additionally, the room is supposed to be cleaned daily. I had to request room cleaning three times, and finally, someone who appeared to be from maintenance came at 7 pm to pick up the trash. Due to a language barrier (he did not speak or understand English), he did not comprehend his responsibilities. When I raised these concerns with the front desk, they contacted a woman from housekeeping who claimed that the staff did not clean my room because it appeared that I had checked out. The manager on duty mentioned that according to their system, I was not marked as checked out, so it must have been a "glitch" in the system. This explanation seems illogical because if the housekeeping department saw that my room was vacant due to a guest checking out, they would have certainly cleaned the room in preparation for the next booking.

Quick checkin, property was clean and appeared to be brand new. The rooms were nice, clean and seemed new. I thought the TV haging my name on it was great. The bed was super comfortable. This will be my go to location whenever I’m in this area for basketball tournaments. It was 8 minutes away from the tournament. Food places, supermarket across the street. All around convenient. Only issue and not a big deal, the breakfast was limited. I have never heard of chicken sausage. But the setup area was nice and clean.

I am very impressed with this Hampton Inn option. The location was accessible to the highway and the hotel staff was efficient and welcoming. I will definitely be returning for a visit whenever my travel plans warrant my being in the Harrisburg area.

My family and I stayed for two nights in April 2024. We would have given 5 stars all around except for a staff member at the breakfast buffet. She was irritable, angry, and repeatedly condescending and rude to people getting their breakfast items. She yelled at my son to “get out of the way” and did the same thing to other children. One mom came up to my husband and I to express her disbelief, stating “did I really just hear that?” My husband spoke with the manager who did seem to address it which was good, but it left a bad taste in our mouths for this hotel. Otherwise, property was clean and close to Hershey Park.

Property and room were very clean. They are not able to accommodate large groups very well. We were staggered on multiple floors which may have disrupted other guests experience with kids in and out doors often. There is no conference center and they abruptly close the lobby at 10. They do have an outdoor fire pit that was cozy but the weather was on the chilly side.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly, checked in late at night around 1am lady was incredibly patient and understanding as I was tired. The room was incredibly clean bathroom was also clean and felt comfortable to use. Only thing I would say is the room had a moldy smell when I first walked in, also could have just been outside smell coming in the room. I only stayed for 1 night but it was very well worth the money. I drove a long bed crew cab truck it was rough to park as it was a little tight and was busy but overall it wasn’t that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I have stayed in many hotels and many of the same “chain”. I have to say this hotel had some of the best, most polite staff and had positivity everywhere! My banana at breakfast even had positive attributes written on it! The coffee cups had all different silly “props” on them! So cute! The room also smelled incredible! Thank you for your stay and thank you to the amazing maintenance guy who helped get tools for my car when my battery decided not to work well! He hardly spoke English and was so patient with me trying to explain what I needed and how to help! You were all incredible!

The property is really nice but an issue with the room…it was renovated with a barn door on the bathroom and it has no lock or latch and no way to keep it closed (from kiddos in the room with you). Soooo no real privacy in that regard. Otherwise, love everything else.

Driving to Philadelphia. Wanted to get to Harrisburg since it wasn't too far from Philadelphia, PA. Hotel was not far from interstate. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very nice, breakfast was very good too!
