"Nice large rooms and comfy bed. The food was very delicious and typical German fare. Decor is a little old in the bedrooms with squeaky wooden floor boards. Surrounding area is nice with some shops but nothing big."

"Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Hotel is virtually next to the Goslar Train Station. Short walk to the old town with beautiful wooden buildings, perfectly representing medieval Germany (pardon me if I am wrong), a wondering plaza, and the Kaiserplatz. Excellent housekeeping."

"Centrally located in Wernigerode, short walk from the station and a short walk to the main shopping area. Bit of a longer walk to the castle. Room was a good nice, nice shower, beds comfortable. Breakfast was included, and was okay."

"Clean, spacious room with amazing view up the street and Werningerode Schloss so very close upon the hill. V good breakfast and a lovely small sauna you can reserve a time for private use. We appreciated a break from the larger city hotels in Hamburg and Berlin to stay in a small cozy bnb style environment. You can step right out the door to shopping and food. The staff was v sweet and we wished we had more time here. Highly recommend! "

"Amazing hotel. Beautiful inside and out. The breakfast was great. The beds were really low and the mattress was like a bunk bed quality, very thin and springy. "

"The place was great and our room had a great view of the town. Our only complaint is that the reservation indicated there would be three people but there were only towels and bedding for two people. "
