โThe family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping hereโ

โWe cannot fault the service staff food and the location excellent it's just the overall finish needs some renovation to the outside finish,it's a bit tired but all that aside we enjoyed our stay staff were all very polite and helpful great. โ
โConveniently situated only 5 minutes drive from my first appointment of the following day, I got checked in with a warm reception from the staff. I have stayed there twice before so had an idea of what to expect. I had one of the external ground floor rooms which made it easier to go back and forth to the car park. โBright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.โ
โWe absolutely loved our stay! The pub was full of locals, guiness on tap, great atmosphere! We had an evening meal and full English breakfast, food was 5****. Really good quality meat! Bed was comfy, room was clean, tea and coffee in the room. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!! โ
โDecent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!โ
โDieser Ort hat fernab vom Rummel der Stadt einen ganz eigenen Zauber und lรคsst einen sofort entspannen. Die Besitzerin ist einfach zauberhaft und sehr bemรผht, ihre Gรคste in Komfort zu bringen. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Person und ist ganz offensichtlich die gute Seele des Hauses, die mit viel liebe zum Detail die Zimmer, das Haus und den Garten liebevoll gestaltet. โ
