"What a gem of a find! True to its name, this was a happy and peaceful place for the 4 days we were on Moorea. This property is very well kept and our bungalow spotless and well stocked with kitchen necessities. Loved having our own outdoor living/dining patio space and access to the pool, jacuzzi and lounge chairs to enjoy the lovely sunsets. The daily breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Thank you to the warm, welcoming and helpful staff of Fare Oaoa Haapiti! "

"Manava Resort is an absolute dream! You feel like you've stepped straight into a fantasy world that movies are made to model. There is so much that sets them apart, but the deep level of care and kindness shows by the staff really takes Manava to level of hospitality that is unmatched. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Don't miss a sunset or sunrise. Getting straight into the ocean from a private bungalow over the water is like nothing you could put into words. The location is great. It's not far (maybe 15 mins) from the ferry terminal and taxis are easy to come by. Honestly, we never felt the need or want to leave the resort as they had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! 20/10 recommend!!"

"As many other reviewers have noted, the setting is spectacular. The expectation is that such a beautiful property must surely be 5 star rated. But upon closer inspection, its luster quickly wears off. The huts are all tired, and in need of some updating. Wallpaper is peeling, and torn in places, and cleanliness is below average for any level of hotel. Perhaps most disappointing was the quality and variety of the restaurants. They were simply abysmal. Imagine a mediocre breakfast buffet for $50+! Or 2 cups of coffee for $12! Bottom line – if you’re OK with eye candy, gracious hardworking staff, but horrible dining, you’ll be happy with the property. If you want a true Hilton 5 Star experience, you won’t find it at this disappointing location"

"The location was spectacular. Lovely welcome drinks and leis, and Eileen was very accommodating. We had great massages and it was the perfect spot to take off for snorkeling trips. We would definitely come back! "

Room had plenty of space, air conditioning worked well, beach towels for water activities. And a central living room and kitchen with spectacular sunset views and relaxing chairs to lounge. "Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "
