“We arrived a little early and greeted by Pauline who is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our suite (Tailors) was ready and we were able to check in. Everything was immaculate, including the lovely garden which has plenty of seating. Thoughtful provision of milk, orange juice, water, biscuits plus teas and coffee was very welcome after a long journey. Location to the characterful town of Woodstock is perfect, just a few minutes stroll and you are amongst the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants....

“Nice and peaceful, clean and good facilities. Nice touch with the Taylors Coffee Bags (could do with a few more to last the week). Nice size desk to work on. Kitchen area is a good size with plenty of storage. Bathroom, the sink is a bit small for the tap that is fitted (nice tap though). Shower has an excellent flow, a bit small and nowhere to put your soap/shower gel. Overall it does feel a little cramped but then it was a stable so can’t expect too much. “Kitchen and floors were not clean at all. Food still stuck to cutlery and dirty glasses. Grubby work tops. Lots of cobwebs in the house, which is due to lack of cleaning. Bed & bathroom were clean enough. No mirrors in any of the rooms, we had to share 1 mirror in the landing between 5 girls which isn’t that great. To be honest if you’re not overly fussy or care where you stay it’s a great location and quiet village. ”
