Clean, good location, great choice of breakfast, double bed was comfy. The first night the kids pull out beds were uncomfortable but we asked for toppers like they had put on ours and this was quickly seen to. My only negative was the pool was too cold to swim in.

Our first impressions were how convenient to the City Centre the location was. Walkable and tram and bus stop outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very warm, quiet and had everything we required. The buffet breakfast was truly amazing. Pretty much anything you want is available to you.

It’s an average hotel I’d say. The breakfast is not good at all though and super crowded. Like even hard to find free seats. It’s stressful and chaotic The gym is good though! No amenities in the room and not even a water boiling kettle

Hotel is clean, spacious and very welcoming. Staff are happy to help and treated us with kindness a smile. There’s plenty to do inside the hotel, locations nearby and is right in front of a beautiful lake. Really enjoyed my time inside the hotel and out. Food is great too, both breakfast and evening meal, even the snacks they have on offer at the shop to take up to our room. Highly recommend staying here.

Check in was crazy. Took over 90 minutes. Once we checked in, room was nice and large (family room). Mini bar fridge was dead though. Breakfast was chaotic. We booked a time slot (as instructed), but no tables. Then once we got a table, there were no coffee cups (some eventually arrived), no cutlery ( some eventually arrived), and getting food was crowded and chaotic. The staff were nice and working hard, but there were simply not enough staff for a busy weekend breakfast service.

Great location at reasonable price

Family of 4 (two adults, two children) stayed during a weekend trip. Room space was enough for 4 people, location of the hotel was perfect (in front of a lake, walking distance to Central Station), room very clean (except for a bit of mould on the bathroom silicone, room 624), delicious breakfast. We used the pool which was more to the cold side (but still ok to get in and made the children happy), and quickly used the sauna. I recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if needed.

Just had a week at the Scandic Park hotel. Very well located next to a large park with a lake and multiple play parks. Travelled as a family of four with a 9yr old and 7yr old, took us about 15mins to walk from the hotel to the central railway station (avoiding the playparks!). Breakfast was plentyful with something for everyone, hot items stayed hot and the coffee was strong, good start to the day. There is a pool and sauna for guests to use on the top floor. The pool was fresh water and very cold but the kids enjoyed it for about 30mins before their lips were blue.. We had a superior family room which was spacious and split into two areass so the kids had tbeir own space and TV. Bathroom was large with seperate shower and bath, and lovely warm under floor heating. Hotel was also near the Olympic stadium, Opera house and the Football stadium. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area, we used Google to find recommendations and enjoyed every meal out. I would stay here again and loved Helsinki

Butlins Holiday Camp

If staying at a 900 room holiday camp is your idea of fun, go ahead, book here. Breakfast was a nightmare. Sittings (yes, really, they are a breakfast thing here) are every half an hour yet are crowded with queues for everything. Insufficient tables meant that people were eager to take your table if you wanted an extra coffee or more than just an orange juice and croissant. Horrible experience. And the evening bar is no better. One member of staff for a busy bar who was clueless in which order to serve the queue at the bar. And orders from the restaurant take precedent, which were often. It’s clean. It’s modern. It’s quite convenient for touring the city. But it’s a holiday camp, attracting people who stop parenting their offspring once the ‘out of office’ is on. Not again for us. But if this sounds like your heaven, then you’ll be happy.
