The staff were very welcoming and as this is a pub the bar was very good. I had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. My room was of a good standard but could only be reached by stairs. All in all I had a good experience and would use The White Hart in Future. Just to add there is plenty of parking behind the pub. Do remember to log in on the many tablets available.

Great location and staff with easy access. Décor a little tired in places and needs some refreshing. Room comfortable and spacious, however shower needed unblocking. Good food available in the pub restaurant. Would stay again.

I had to arrive late for my reservation, but the staff willingly accommodated me despite having to work later. The room was beautiful, styled in a 12th-century design. I recommend it.

My bijou little room was on the first floor of the inn (as opposed to some rooms they have in separate buildings). Quite a nice little room but no view and I had to climb onto the bed to open the velux window. When I opened the bathroom window I had unfortunate cooking smells from the kitchen extractor which was a few feet away, so I only opened it outside meal times. There was no information in the room so I had to wait until the morning to get the WiFi code - I think this should have been given to me on arrival. The last issue was that there was no hairdryer in the room and I didn’t take my travel one as usually they are available in hotels - I would have liked to wash my hair on my last morning. The breakfasts were average. I still enjoyed my stay as I have family living close by. Would I stay there again? Maybe if I asked for a different room without breakfast and ate elsewhere.

My room (caramel) was huge! Clean and comfortable, though slightly difficult shutting the door with the big curtain behind it. One star deducted for no fan, no one told me the wifi password when I arrived, and there was no cereal or fruit left by 9am for breakfast on Sunday. My parents also paid £30 a night to have their dog in their room yet there wasn’t so much as a dog bowl included, so they could do better on that front.
