What could be more iconic that the Stari Most of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina? Looking at this town it is hard to believe that this ethnically integrated crossroad settlement became a victim to politics that managed to divide the entire town along the length of the river with the Croats and Bosnian Muslims each living on either side of the Stari Most with separate lives and minimal integration.
