"The property was super clean and the staff worked extremely hard to keep it that way. They even scrub the pool chairs. The room was pretty spacious compared to many resorts I’ve been to. Front desk staff were always very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and how to get around. The baggage concierge staff actively try to help you with directions and information on taxis etc. The entertainers in the evening shows are very talented. Bar staff were always friendly and attentive. Dining staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. Pools were always clean. The beach is scenic but I don’t think I’d swim in it too many boats. However just so happened to be able to baby sea turtles being released. This property is not close to shopping centers but you can take a bus there for less than a dollar. All in all wonderful time. First time at a Barceló resort and I’ll definitely stay at a Barcelo again. "

"We stayed here at the end of September through the beginning of October and absolutely loved it! Our weather forecast showed rain every day, but it only rained two nights and didn’t affect our stay at all. Since it was off-season, the resort was much quieter, which we actually preferred, it made the whole experience feel more relaxing and private. The location was perfect, secluded just outside of town with its own private beach. The ocean was so warm and calm that we ended up spending more time there than at the pool. The service from the staff was truly unforgettable, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it’s one of the main reasons we can’t wait to come back. Overall, it was such a peaceful and memorable getaway that exceeded our expectations. We’d definitely return during this time of year again!"

"I stayed at the Marival for 2 weeks. The resort itself is great. They had shows every night in the theatre from the entertainment team and activities throughout the day by the main pool. Fernanda from the entertainment team was super helpful and friendly the whole time. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a family vacation."
