โWe wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didnโt disappoint us.
There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional.
The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too.

โFor us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. โDas kleine sehr nette Hotel hat eine wirklich super Lage direkt am Meer und zusรคtzlich noch einen Pool direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Zu Fuร erreicht man alles was man braucht, Lokale und Geschรคfte. Wir kรถnnen das Neevana unbedingt empfehlen.โ
โThe owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. โ

โReally enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Staff were really really nice and helpful!! Very pleasant to talk to!! Modern and clean!! Small balcony! Very central on the Main Street! About 10 minutes walk to beach! Only downside is that there is no bar! In saying that there are plenty of places nearby that have beer! Breakfast was excellent!! Would definitely stay here again โ
