I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and felt it offered...

"Having booked a four person room, I was very surprised on arrival to find that out accommodation was actually a two floor cottage with a kitchen. Very comfortable and spacious. Two televisions. One separate double bedroom on first floor. All lovely. Breakfast was excellent and not a buffet but plentiful. Overall highly recommended. Staff were all very pleasant also. If you are lucky you can park right outside your cottage otherwise there is a carpark very near."

"Our room on the second floor was extremely hot - it was a particularly hot week but we were never able to cool it down despite having the fan on. Having to climb about 40 stairs with suitcases for several days' stay was a challenge. Although the house keeping staff did their best to maintain the room and bathroom they were outdated and the bathroom in particular needs updating.
