“The friendliness of the staff is top-notch and everywhere is so clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a lack of vegan awareness. Although my meal on the first night was tasty it didn't include any protein. There were no vegan wines available but they kindly let me bring some vegan wine I had in the car in to have with my meal. “The food was excellent both at the pub/ restaurant and cafe and the staff were friendly. We have travelled a lot and I’ve never felt so mis-led about a property. The hotel has no access to the lake or the lovely grass yard in front of it. It is almost completely enclosed by a 6ft high fence with “no access” signs all over it that are pretty much what you are looking at. Also, there was no fridge or coffee maker (even tho they roast coffee on site!) in our room and the little store and cafe...

We had a good sized bedroom but with noisy floors in the bathroom as well not too keen on electric showers but eventually got water at the right temp. “Location was great, right next to the loch, Food at the hotel opposite was great and the staff were great. Parking was a little bit of an issue with other guests not parking correctly, and the window blind, when used, fell off and hit me on the head, which was a shock at the time.
