It was a little tricky finding the carpark but Debbie on reception was very helpful explaining it once we had arrived. The accommodation is one of several around a nice courtyard/garden. "Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. The restaurant was superb, great food, lovely surroundings with good prices and finally each and every member of staff were genuinely nice, polite,...

"Lovely clean room, comfy bed. Ate in the bar & enjoyed a nice meal, friendly staff in bar area. It was not warm enough to sit in the garden but in warmer weather there were plenty of tables outside in a nice spacious garden. Hotel is situated away from the centre of whitby but is very handy for the park & ride bus service which works out much cheaper than using the town car parks. "

"Excellent stay. Really nice, large bedroom with excellent views. Generally very comfortable although mattress a little hard for my liking but that is a personal thing. Hotel had plenty of public space with 2 bars and plenty of loung areas as well as a comfortable dining room. Food excellent and good value. I am sure we will be back"
