They quickly fetched a bucket and filled it with ice for me. Front desk service was outstanding. We found the room itself was complicated. Why do you need to put a card in the wall slot...

“Just lovely! Perfect location, beautiful, friendly staff”

“The friendly staff and all the history!”

“everything ”

“The staff were very friendly. The B & B was in great location. Even though pretty authentic the property seemed rather dingy and the bedding and towels could have been nicer. No housekeeping unless you asked for fresh up of room. Ventilation in the Whitaker room was poor. Lighting in bathroom poor. All in all if you want a place in historic area the McMillan House is a perfect location. Parking was limited. Breakfast was fine.”
