Terrible area. Street filled with prostitutes . My girlfriend was grabbed and pulled by two local men. Had to fight them off. Disgusting. Would not go back if you paid me.

I had a very nice stay here. It’s actually two hotels in one and has an interesting layout so don’t let that throw you off. The food is very good and breakfast has quite the spread. The staff were very helpful. I had a massage at their spa on my last day and it was wonderful. The location is central to many attractions and food options including the Japanese area if you’re craving something different. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The staff was very professional and helpful! Breakfast was the best. I especially like the omelette chef. She was very friendly and efficient. The waiters, waitresses, and bartenders were very friendly. Especially at the happy hour.

Pros: location, friendly staff, clean, complimentary foot massage was excellent, decent breakfast Cons: only 1 elevator, the shower was weird and hard to opperate without spraying water everywhere, pool is smaller than it looks in the photographs, bed was hard, rooms are not very sound proof - was hearing "house keeping" knocks down the hallway before 9am.

The hotel is well situated to visit the key HCMC landmarks on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast has a good variety of cuisines. However it is the same every day. Even the fruit selection did not change. The room was very spacious (we did book the executive room). But we were located just below the swimming pool and pool bar and the noise carried. Overall we had a good time in the hotel (breakfast, sleep/shower). We spent a very short time by the pool as it was quite cramped and uncomfortable chairs (no cushions).

We enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were great, the staff were lovely & the breakfast was great with a good variety. It has a good rooftop pool & great views of the city. The only downside was how expensive the laundry was compared to all our other hotels - they charge by the item instead of by kg.

The location was great, room was good only thing that was disappointing was that the free coupons issued we inadvertently used the 23 on the 22 date and asked if they could replace them they said no. Both us and the bartender did not catch this error. Very inflexible in this regard

First the positives. The location of this hotel is great if you love to walk. It's less than 10 minutes from both Ben Thanh market and the walking street. Breakfast was great, with pho, steamed rice rolls, banh mi, beef stew, eggs to order, and fruit. The bed was comfortable, with different pillow options and the AC worked well. The gym was good, with some dumbbells and cardio machines. I had one very good massage at the spa, as well as an okay one. The two things that stop me from giving this hotel a 5 rating are: 1) strangely, the breakfast. It was great, however it was EXACTLY the same for the four days I was there. I prefer to eat Asian food for breakfast but by the last day I was having eggs as I needed some variety. 2) the pool. It was very small. It's not that I need to swim lengths. However after a day of wandering in 35C heat, it would be nice to have a cool dip. The pool was so small that it felt like a hot tub by the afternoon. Overall, a very good stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for stays of three days or less.

The Alagon D'antique was in a great area, with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and services close by. The hotel always smelled so good when you enter due to the fresh flowers in the lobby. The breakfast was fantastic! We loved hanging out rooftop, and our Expedia VIP status gave us free drinks/fries up there. The pool seating is a little sparse, so get there early. Lastly, the staff was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We recommend this hotel.

Hotel does not provide me with the same room type which I booked. Keep me changing the room along my stay. Eventually, I was requested to change 3 times of room for my 3 nights stay. It is tremendously annoying me. As the Expedia Gold tier, always UNABLE to enjoy the room upgrade privilege at all. It does not bring me any privileges at all.

Feels like an oasis within a bustling city. I absolutely loved the rooftop pool and the spa, which feels like a private observation deck with an incredible view of the city around it. From the hotel, it's easy to experience the city outside its doorstep and I easily arranged an organized tour to check out the Cu Chi tunnels just outside the city (and I'm not a tour person much really either). The city can be a bit loud outside, so I'd recommend a higher floor or an interior room for a more peaceful night.

Good property but need some improvements in the restaurant services especially in the morning buffet. Restaurant staff in the morning not too awake to client's needs. If you are looking for a nice pool and are a swimmer don't count on the small and unfiltered rooftop pool.

Great location, team, value, clean, nice rooms, nice pool. Second time in 2 months. The wifi this time kept cutting out on me and blocking some basic flight and bank links, not sure why. Otherwise everything was fantastic including the free breakfast.

staff are very helpful and always pleased to help. This was highlight of our stay. My wife used spa and was good. Rooftop pool and bar is small. Nothing more to add. Location is very good, close to many eat out places and coffee shops. Hotel Restaurant is expansive compare with outside eatery places. when you come out of the hotel main entrance, turn right for Ben Thanh market, museum and Saigon square. All are within walking distance of 20 minutes.

Terrible time at this property. Started with a bad greeting. Initially staff allocated a really bad room that had a vomit smell. Upon requesting the staff to inspect it and change it they said they can’t. We requested for the manager and they had a silly excuse that the manager was not in. They didn’t have any communication manners and would laugh on complaining. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

The property is in an excellent location and accomodated my late check in without any problem. The staff were allvery friendly and there was an excellent choice of breakfast foods which included fresh produce cooked to order. I received a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite which was very much appreciated and which I would recommend. A very pleasant stay.
