The host prepares breakfast for the next day every evening, so there’s a good chance you’ll see her and have a quick chat. The guest rooms are spacious, and the common areas are warmly decorated—it’s a cozy and homey place to stay. The host is very welcoming. Even before we arrived, she had already sent us a detailed introduction to the town, including gas stations, restaurants, supermarkets, and more.

The host was so kind. The place was very clean and having a kitchen and laundry available was great since we were road tripping around the country. The location was in great proximity to some beautiful sights and wasn’t far off the ring road. We would definitely stay here again.

This was up to now the best guesthouse we stayed at during our trip. Very clean. Rooms size are good. Breakfast was good and copious. The host was very nice and welcoming. We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry. Late check in was easy and well communicated before our arrival. We would definitely stay here again in a future trip. Hofn is a nice little town to stop and relax on your trip around yhe route 1.

We stayed here for one night. Check-in was easy. Our room had two twin beds, it was small, but enough room for our suitcases, and a desk. The shared area is just like a house with a decent sized and clean kitchen, and dining table and sofas to relax. She has laundry machines with detergent available, you pay by QR code, so nice and convenient. The upstairs bathroom is a good size, and shared with 3 rooms. Overall a nice stay. We would stay here again.

Bad ratio price quality

Positive: breakfast included and with choice. Everything was very clean. Negative: The room itself was tiny. The communication to enter the flat was a disaster, the host are not answering the messages and the interphone. We were lucky the husband of the host was randomly there to open us. Overall to pay 180 euros a night for this is not acceptable.

The property is spcious and the rooms generous. Everything is spotless. We took advantage of the washer and dryer (both new machines of good quality). Breakfast (simple) was provided which we appreciated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Parking is next to the side entrance. Lots of thought has gone into preparing the property. Plus we get to meet other travelers like us. We highly recommend this stay.
