Check in was smooth. They did not tell me where the pool was that would be helpful. Also the pool has so much chlorine that me and my guests were coughing and their eyes were stinging. The room was great and clean!

I had a weekend stay at Holland,MI at the Staybridge Suites. The stay was amazing - very nice room, clean spacious, with kitchen and a nice bathroom. What blew me away was the incredible breakfast buffet with waffles, mini omeletes, sausages - everything was delicious. Also what was exceptional was the pool and hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On the days we were there, there was lots of snow and very cold outside so we warmed ourselves in the hot tub, after a long day of walking around town. The pool/hot tub room was super warm despite a blizzard happening outside. Fantastic stay!

The room was in poor condition. Gaps in the flooring, mold/mildew on the bathroom door, large paint chips on the walls of the room, messy caulking on the kitchen counter/backsplash. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub, but there was such a strong chemical smell in the pool room that it immediately burned your eyes just entering the room. People had to open the door to the outside to get fresh air, the fumes made your lungs burn and made you cough. Staff were kind and helpful. The condition of the room was frankly shocking given I paid $300+ for two nights.

It was a busy weekend so parking was tight, but we really enjoyed our stay. Visiting our son at GVSU which was an easy 25 min drive and we enjoyed our time both here and in Holland. Staff was great, kids loved the pool and hot tub (although it was HOT, lol). We definitely will be back at some point.

Great hotel stay

Being in a hotel like this one makes me and wifey only want to stay in a staybridge. Our last few hotel stays had something missing like, pool being closed, no mini fridge or microwave. This hotel had everything available. It was very comfy and clean. If we come back to Holland, MI, we will go back there.

While the location is well kept and we enjoyed a clean, well equipped room and I was very pleased to have the hot tub, it really is the staff there that made our stay great. I believe the front desk gent we interacted with the most is Eric, he was very helpful, but everyone was good. The lady who operated the breakfast buffet with a gent each day is an extremely hard working (never stopped!) and hospitable asset to the hotel.
