"Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. "Recently refurbished to a high standard this 8 roomed hotel was a pleasant one night stopover for us. Our room was clean & comfortable, although the ceiling fan was pretty useless in the hot weather. It may have needed adjusting but there was no information about it in the room! The dividing room walls do not prevent all the noise from the adjoining room from being heard. The bar and dining area was spacious and there were plenty of staff providing good friendly service.
