Loved the Historic vibe. The only downfall is finding a place to park. But if you can find parking on the street, your golden.

The property is located in the central town area with shopping and restaurants around the hotel has an old world feeling about it very comfortable. There is also a large fireplace in the lobby a restaurant attached to the property. The room was clean with windows overlooking the river.

We enjoyed the historic character of the building. The old bathroom mirror was designed for much taller people, but these minor quirks didn’t bother us. Be prepared to park on the street. Street parking is free in the evening, but will start up at 8 am. Beds were comfortable. We stayed midweek in May and didn’t experience any problems with noise.

The parking was less than ideal at the property. There was no place to load/unload at the property. The location on a hill and parking lot at bottom of hill was difficult with luggage. Listed a bar and restaurant but really a coffee shop, not open in the evenings. Rooms were quaint and clean but shower head was very low, not ideal for even an average height man.

Parking overnight for $15 was pretty expensive. Overall this hotel was an incredibly unique and pleasant experience. The Bunker room is super cool!

The street in front of the hotel was under construction, not so good, but loved the hotel and room. The fireplace was unbelievable. Beautiful place.

This is a great historic property that is well kept and clean. It has been refurbished and appears loved. There was some road construction outside but that is no fault of the property.

It is a unique hotel with a lot of history. However, it is not well soundproof, be aware. As for us, for only one night, it was perfect

The room was great, the shower was a another thing, it would go from warm to scalding and back constantly. Other than that, we had a good time.

This is such a cute place with lots to do within walking distance! We went to 64oz tap in the evening and enjoyed live music. We also went to grounds coffee for some yummy coffee and breakfast food in the morning. And there was a cute dog to meet us when we walked in!

THE place to stay in Hood River
This is a class act hotel. We had the "Historic Downtown Suite" which was quite large with a separate dining/kitchen area. Very comfy, nice bed. The simpler rooms are tighter, of course, from what ee could see. Hint: the hotel directs you to $15/day parking 2 blocks away down a steep hill, but off season there was plenty of street parking right by the hotel for $1/hr to 6PM, then free.

Perfect location. The hotel lobby fireplace is a soothing touch. Park the car and walk everywhere or stay there to enjoy breakfast and lunch with drinks.
