The location is wonderful and it was very quiet at night. However, there was a bright light close to the window and no black-out curtains, so too light in the room for my liking. The breakfast was nice, but the poached egg was overcooked. The scrambled eggs looked nice though. Staff were very friendly.
Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast.
The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities.
Had a lovely stay in The Miners Arms in Eyam. Food was excellent, well prepared and good size portions served by very friendly, helpful staff. Will probably stay here again in the future. Thank You!
Lovely little one night stay room was nice the bathroom was small but manageable. There was a big car park to the rear and was nice and quiet

Lovely meals but not on a Sunday evening. Stairs which with luggage were a bit daunting. No lift. Bar door locked at night which meant as we had a very early start - too early for the breakfast which was included, and this also meant I had to take luggage down a spiral fire escape exit. Luckily a gentleman in the next room helped me down with 3 bags.Breakfast is late for early starters.

Friendly and welcoming
Friendly, helpful people. I enjoyed my solo two night stay.
Friendly staff
Nice location
Lovely breakfast
Big thumbs up for the pillows there normally 2 ft high :)
Was expecting hot weather so took my own fan .
Maybe this could b something to look into providing.
All in all a great place to stay
Comfy bed, warm room. Great evening dining choices. Breakfast also good. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is it would have been good to know in advance that it was a haunted property (most haunted pub in Derbyshire allegedly) rather than finding out on arrival. It freaked me out and I slept poorly. Would have booked elsewhere if I had known.

Opening hours could be better but generally the experience was good . Staff went out of their way to help.
Great pub, all the staff were really friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast (which doesn't start until 8:30am), but they were really amazing in trying to help us and they did make us a breakfast sandwich to take away which was much appreciated. The bed also was very comfortable!

Hiking stop over
Stop over on my 3 day hike. Although no food served Sunday evening I was allowed to order in a takeaway curry to eat in my room and avoid a 15 minute walk outvthen back.
The breakfast scrambled eggs were excellent too.
Stayed in the single room with a dog. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and a good size with single bed.
The shower room was of a good size.
The room overlooks the garden, some car parking and partial view of a road from the village. Out of season this room was lovely and quiet and suited my needs. If the pub had been busier with people sat in garden until later, then it may not have suited me personally, as much.
Dining as a single person was ok but I would have liked to have been asked if I wanted anything else once I'd finished my main meal and I would have ordered another drink. Travelling on your own doesn't always make you feel comfortable enough to get up to go to the bar to get more drinks / ask for a menu. Breakfast was lovely. Check in and out was also really good and I was lucky to see the same staff member throughout my stay.
