Houzipo Red Army Martyrs Tomb Tours

The rooms were spotless and the staff wonderful, unfortunately the property is quite run down ie the pool area and property facade. The staff are amazing and so hospitable, going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The comp breakfast was very welcomed as no places to eat in the area, we also ate dinner one night and it was lovely, simple and tasty. It’s a quick walk to the middle gate entry too national park. Taxis to/from property are about 50yuan to Wulingyuan and 100yuan to Zhangjiajie city, (I’m sure much cheaper with Didi) and great for an evening or afternoon walk around and dinner. I want to reiterate the staff are wonderful and the rooms spotless, the photos are maybe not what you should expect so prepare your expectations for a good clean Staycay better than basic but not luxe as the pics may suggest. Two words, serene and lovely :)

Incredible service. My girlfriend texted them an hour before we arrived that it was my birthday, and they prepared decorations and a cake on short notice. They also prepared medicine when my girlfriend was feeling sick. And the shuttle service to Wulingyuan was invaluable. Also, we only stayed for one night but the room and scenery were as good as they look in the pictures.
