The owner is a gem and was so available to answer all of our questions about the area. We even got to meet some horses up close and personal. We will be back. The room is small, as in the distance between the bed and one wall was about the side of a paperback book (~8 inches), another wall about 2.5 feet, and between the bed and third wall/bathroom about 3 feet. There is no closet, no place to put a suitcase. It's clean and functional. "

"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area. "

"This place is a gem! The pods are not huge but very cozy - more than what we needed. Finding the place was easy and staff was super nice. Parking is right next to your pod. You will need to bring your beddings or you can rent there for a fee. The little hiking trail right next to it and the wifi/common area was a nice plus, and the spa too! The restaurant offers an amazing view and their breakfast is very decent. A small problem we had was that the washrooms did run out of toilet papers sometimes. Overall well worth the money, recommend!!"
