“Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...

“Tucked away in unspoilt countryside . It was indeed a warm, cosy double. Soft muted colours, furry blankets, gorgeous comfortable bed. Felt immediately at home' . The garden with twinkling lights and restaurant decoration are charming and food first class. We canx our booking due to an unforeseen hospital stay but could then make it and staff handled this effectively- thank you . We loved it and will be back. Thank you so much x ”

“Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird. ”
