Beaufort Inn

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with our own front and back porch. The bedrooms were decorated with period pieces adding charm and character. The original wood floor and exposed brick in the kitchen also added to its charm and homeyness. The kitchen had several pots and pans and basic cooking items. We have recommended a mixer for those(like us), that do cook while there(a large glass casserole dish would also be a nice addition). We did buy plastic silverware as it currently only has cutlery for 4 people, so you would need to wash this after every meal. We made our own breakfast, but understood breakfast in the main inn was provided! We used the bikes to do some of the Spanish moss trail which we picked up only about 5 minutes from the inn. They also have a card for hunting beach which would normally be $8.00/person to get onto. The beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans were a nice addition in the bedrooms and living room. We would definitely stay here again."

"This is our second time staying at Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort. We love the proximity to the beach. An easy, few minute walk and you’re on the sand! The beach was perfect. Not too crowded and seceral lifeguards present. Multiple pools is a great option. The smaller pool was next to our building and perfect for our family. Check-in and out was a breeze. Most staff members we interacted with were a delight! Polite and helpful! I do wish condo owners would keep a broom & dustpan on hand instead of only a small vacuum. There were a few things that needed to be fixed in the condo, but nothing that inhibited our stay. Chairs and boards were available if needed. There’s nothing better than having your morning breakfast or nightcap and seeing the ocean/hearing waves crashing."
