โThe rooms were clean and well stocked you had everything you needed. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. My dog loved her sausage every morning.โ
โAbsolutely great place to stay if you're in Ilfracombe. Backs onto the very pretty harbour area, really good value breakfast and the pub is friendly, great beers but not noisy at all.
Our room got a little warm and the mgt instantly upgraded us to a two-room suite opposite and the general service and friendliness of the team who manage the Royal Britannia would be a major reason for going back as well as the beautiful spots immediately around the hotel. โI booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but Iโm glad I didnโt take all the reviews too seriously, Iโve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback itโs that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys...
โLovely little apartment over two floors within easy walking distance of town centre. Owner very accommodating. On street parking can be difficult at times. We enjoyed our short stay in Penryn.โ
