โThe staff was friendly and kind especially at the front desk! I was a little bit late for breakfast but the kitchen staff allowed me to grab a plate before they started to clean up which was much appreciated! Thank you for that. I was happy with the cleanliness of my room. I thought it was a very pretty touch of the room divider or whatever it was in the room thatโs in between the sofa and bed that kinda separates the two spaces. I would definitely stay at this location again and recommend it to...
โWe had very early appointments so we could not have any food from the breakfast, but the beds were large and very comfortable for queen sizes.
Just two *BUT*s in the whole staying:
1st - the ICE MACHINE were VERY PHILFY DIRT to even think put in our drinks, as the washing machine as well.
2nd - I know we arrived with couple in advance than is on the rules of the hotel to check in, HOWEVER, the "fee" charged on us ($30 !!!) it was more than half of we paid for a night on the rooms. I won't say...
โThis is a house that dates from 1869 that is kept in that style with lots of old time features, it has got sir con and modernish bathrooms., but if you want taking back in time this is a place to stay. The staff are great and the breakfast too.โ
โLove the layout and office building. Breakfast is great; bar is great. The rooms are super big but they have not been updated in prob 15years (I stayed here previously a lot for work and it's exactly the same)
I love this place, I will stay here again, but they could really use a room update โ
โNice convenient location. Easy off and on the highway. Lots of dining choices nearby. Make sure you watch out for the geese during the spring-they do warn you. Lots of geese nesting in and around the parking lot. โ
