"We spent six days at the hotel in August and were very happy. The decor in the room was a bit outdated but absolutely fine and the AC worked well. The room was large and comfortable for two people, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly. Not everyone spoke that much English but there were enough who did so it was not a problem. The location was the main highlight for us, as the hotel is just by the main shopping street with multiple department stores, and also easily walkable to the Forbidden City. We would definitely stay there again."

"Good location, nice staff and excellent service. The breakfast buffet was a big plus to us. The only thing I was not impressed was the airport drop off service. The driver was not professional at all (plate number ending 35335). The car was 15 minutes later than our scheduled pickup time. The driver never got out of the car to help us with the luggage loading. The hotel staff was helping instead. The driver was eating tomato and cucumbers with one hand driving the entire ride. After we got to the airport, he continued eating and never communicated or got out of the car to help. I was very pleased with everything this hotel offered except the airport ride."

"The staff was the best Ive ever experienced at over 100+ marriot hotels. They were fantastic helping with an American family in china. Language barriers, payment issues, transportation, luggage transfer, app to use. Remember its china. The room was huge! Great for familys, clean and complete with pool & kids playroom."
