Stuffs are not as friendly as compare with other hotels I stay. By the way, they charged me 50 CHF/night for my mistake select 1 instead of 2 person for twin room, even I prove the twin bed room are same price for either 1 or 2 person without breakfast, the guy insisted to charge 50CHF, it’s not reasonable and not good attitude.

The property was amazing. Very close to train stations and very walkable. Everything was super clean and overall a great stay. Front desk staff also helped with all our questions and explanations were great.

Can’t complain with location but the guest house is above the Indian Restaurant so the food smell goes to our room, there is no vent so if u open the window, right below our room is an alley where waiters and guests smoke and again, smoke and chatter go straight to our room. The room is bright but need some TLC.

Good value and location.
In booking our stay in Interlaken, it was really important for us to be conscious of price. Ultimately, we chose to stay at the Hey Hotel Guest House for that reason- understanding that we may give up some comforts in order to get a decent price. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay, especially given that the price was one of the best in the area. Our check in process was smooth, quick, and easy. We were given a locked area to store our luggage before we were able to access our room. The Hey Hotel and the Guest House are very conveniently located- about a 5 minute walk from Interlaken West train station, and a 12 minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station, as well as directly off of the main street, near a lovely park, by plenty of shopping, near the entrance to Harder Kulm funicular, but tucked away just enough to be quiet. The Guest House was very clean and quiet, we say maybe only 1 other guest while we were there. There was no air conditioning (which we knew ahead of time) but a fan was provided which kept us cool overnight. There was a strong wifi connection as well. The bathroom was lovely, although the door did not close, and there was not a mini fridge. Ultimately, a stay at the Hey Hotel Guest House provides a nice balance of convenience, walkability, and price. It is a no-frills stay but certainly provides all the basic necessities to remain comfortable.

I would avoid booking the guest house. I had a room on the 4 th floor. i did not expect a luxury room, I was aware of the limited and summary furnishings but I wish I knew that there is no way to set a temperature in the room. There was no fresh air to breathe, it felt very warm, the ceiling window cannot be opened, there is only a plug in air fan that can be used to move the air but there is no source of fresh air at all.

The guesthouse is next to the nicer hotel (cheaper). No air conditioning, but the rooms are clean and quiet and a great location. Only complaint (besides the air conditioning) is the shower is a bit small and the shower curtain touches your body while showering.

Excellent location in the shopping area. Located near Interlaken West station which I never used as my trains all left from Interlaken East station (about 15min walk away). There is no A/C and my room was very hot, opening the windows and putting the fan on helped a little bit. Staff are friendly.

Hotel staff are kind and location is convenient. Very affordable and clean however there is no air conditioning so it was quite hot during our visit in September.

Tiniest Bath in Europe for Exploring Top of Europe
Hey has a few buildings. We stayed at the guest House which is more of a basic version of the hotel and we did feel like 2nd class citizen. While the price is still really high - equivalent to a 4-star hotel we stayed in Geneva the same week. The room was basic. Bed is half-way decent with thin sheets. There is no air-con and Interlaken can get really hot even in September. Bathroom is as tiny as a coat closet, probably the tiniest we have seen in Europe. There is a dance studio across the street. It blasted loud music until 8:50pm. Anything good about the stay? It has an elevator, is 2-min walk from the best bar in town and it is 6 min from Interlaken West station.

The room was extremely hot! There was no air conditioning in the room and the fan was blowing low air. Basically couldn’t breathe! They should invest in portable air conditioning for the rooms especially since we are paying a lot for the experience. Shower curtain was filthy. Not good at all for the price that we paid and we wouldn’t come back or recommend to others.

It was wonderful. No air conditioning, but we knew that walking into it. The staff was very accommodating and found us two fans to use in our room to keep cool. The staff was very helpful. Everything was within walking distance, including the parking garage. A very memorable experience!!

Second worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my life
I’ve traveled to Europe over 15 times across countries and this has to be single most disappointing experience. Overpriced shoddy hotel with a pathetic attitude and service. We were initially shafted to a room with windows that are 3 feet away from a wall. After creating a scene we were given a room that had some sunlight. We knew the rooms weren’t air conditioned but come with a fan. A broken fan that makes more noise than actually circulating air. It was blistering hot. Couldn’t sleep for the 2 nights that I was there. If I hadn’t spent 450 chf on the booking; I would’ve shifted hotels. Switzerland is known to have the cleanest water one that can you drink from the washroom tap. However, our washroom water was brown for over 24 hours. Could not even use the shower. The sink was clogged and the water got filthier with every round of flushing. They came to check the washroom literally 10 mins before my checkout. Would not recommend to anyone. Please don’t be deceived by the pictures and social media.

Tiny rooms.
The room looked nothing like the room shown. There were three of us in a TINY, non-airconditioned room. The third bed was in a loft, up a ladder. NOT what we booked. When we informed the front desk that our room did not reflect our booking, the receptionist said that was a mistake on the part of Hotels.com. They said the site had linked the wrong picture to the booking.

Although hotel did nit provide air condition, fans provided were not efficient to keep the room cool. Other hotel we stayed were more comfortable without any Air condition. Customers comfort should be considered as important in running a Hotel business. Sorry, I usually don’t write any negative comments but this experience was really bad and felt very bad for giving such an experience for my family. Hope they look into improvement

Alles un Allem war das Hotel gut aber es gaben zwei Nachteilen : 1 - Das Frühstück kostet Fr. 25.-- pro Person. So übertrieben, Dass wir es nicht einmal probiert und in einer Bäckerei gefrühstückt haben. 2 - Für die exrtem heissem Temperaturen, die wir hatten, war die kleine vom Hotel zut Verfügung gestellte Klimaanlage vom Weitem unterdimensioniert. Sie war so lärmig und uneffizient, dass wir kaum schlafen konnten. Ausser dies, kein Problem. Das Personal freundlich und überall herrschte Sauberkeit.

The photo is so misleading. The room was pretty untidy looking. The bathroom was the worst of it. Also remember that there is no AC, the fan they provided didn’t work. Would never stay here.

Great location in Interlaken. Room was clean and modern BUT VERY small with little or no space for your things. Spent 2 nights in hotel. Close to shops and main street as well as short walk to train station ( Interlaken West)
