“Shower does not drain, mold in shower. Insects and water in room due to poor windows. Wifi was poor but the staff fixed that, the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful when you can find them.”

“We checked in here when we discovered the original place we had booked was horrible and we could just not stay there. This hotel was a welcome find! I really wish I could remember the lady at the front desk’s name - she was so friendly and helpful, always smiling!! We also had a wonderful massage as well, it was so relaxing!! Special shout out to Jorge who went above and beyond!! We highly recommend this hotel right downtown San Cristobal.”

“Clean room, attentive staff. small insect problem but the manager took care of it immediately and it was resolved for the rest of our stay. Staff English limited but Google Translate made things smooth 😁. If you have any situation or problem, the staff is very attentive, but if you don’t say anything : no solution 😜. “Very budget friendly. Flavio is a wonderful host. When our ride did not arrive for a tour, he asked us who we booked with and got someone to pick us up within 2 minutes as he knows everyone in town. Basic accommodation but that is all you need on a this island. Great snorkeling spots are a short walk away.”

“Close to restaurants and ferry. However our “beach view” was completely obstructed and the bathrooms had mold all over the ceilings. This was the only Hostal we stayed in that did not have water for us to refill our bottles. They did have a store to buy a few items. My daughter forgot her earphones and they flagged us down to let us know which was really nice. The property needs some serious work. I paid more for the ocean views from the patio but wasn’t able to see it at all. ”

“Friendly staff. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. Room was comfortable and large. Bathroom was sufficient, however, the shampoo and bodywash came in little packets which were impractical for those with lots of hair. Luckily we brought our own stuff. I had them wash my laundry (7$) it was washed, dried, and folded. Host drove us to the ferry on our last day for 2$/person at 5am which was very helpful.”
