My family and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Jacamar. The room was very nice, spacious clean and comfortable. What made the stay fabulous was the young man who worked at the hotel. Leo took care of us and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel special. He procured mango and avocado for breakfast when we mentioned that we liked it, asked around at neighboring restaurants if they could make a pizza for my sister, took us to the beach at 6 am to meet our guides for the Corcovado trip and...

We loved staying here. it was a romantic, pampered experience. Manager Scott made us feel very welcome and the wonderful staff were warm and helpful and friendly. The view and the pool and the surroundings are simply heavenly. I would recommend it very highly to anyone seeking an adult-only, beautifully appointed small boutique hotel in a lush, gorgeous setting.

My whole family loved our stay at Hotel Margarita in August 2024. The area of Drake Bay was pretty, but it is very rustic (dirt roads, limited dining, restaurants are open-air with no A/C, etc). Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 12 and 10. The lodge and screen walled cabins provide a nice setting with wonderful creatures and sounds all around. The tours were very good. We did a kayak tour from the gulf beach into a mangrove canal and saw sea turtles, birds, monkeys, and a sloth. It was a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing and the birds chirping. Very close to restaurants and all of the tours and the host was awesome and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

Three Sixty Boutique Hotel is a masterpiece! The attention to detail at every level took my breath away. When you arrive, you go up a very steep hill to be greeted by a friendly gate attendant who will let you into the property. I had a great stay here. Norlyn gave me directions on how to arrive to Drake's Bay and picked me up from beach. He showed me around the town as well. The hotel was within waking distance of restaurants, hiking trail and beach. It's quiet and has good internet. Breakfast was good. It was clean. The people there were very friendly and helpful. He also helped me to book tours for the week.

Our stay in Yaba Chigui Lodge was most delightful. The property is very well maintained and the design is unique with huge glass windows. The rooms are facing the jungle. Waking up in the morning we listened to the noises and even saw two monkeys. The innkeepers Juan and Ana were extremely helpful and friendly. We would come again in an instant!

Solid choice for stays in Drake. AC in rooms. Fairly simple clean rooms. Saw Capuchin monkeys and other animals in the early morning and evening from the terrace overlooking the forest. Up the hill from the bay near restaurants.

A cute super well ran hotel away from town, the staff was the best we've ever had at a location. This is a family run place that makes you feel like family while you are there. The food is great! We stayed 8 days and never repeat a breakfast. The staff set up 7 different excursions with us and coordinated our pick up and drop offs. Peaceful place with a great vibe. The hosts Lily and Alex, their family, Morgan and all the staff, are just lovely people with a great spirit. Spent 8 days there, just sorry it couldn't be longer. The food at their restaurant 'Sud" is incredible, organic eggs, homemade jams of all sorts, the lamb chops, not to mention the deserts were among my favorites.
